Construct Qur’an Learning & Hifz Centre
It has been a huge honour and a milestone for us, to be able to create history; By beginning the construction of the first ever ‘Quran Learning Centre’ dedicated to the memorisation of the Quran in, Masuri, Sierra Leone. This is a one-of-a-kind establishment and the first and only Hifz Madrassa in Northern Sierra Leone, since the existence of the country.
Tonkolili District, located in Sierra Leone’s northern province, is a culturally and traditionally rich territory. Magburaka, the district’s capital, and neighbouring towns like as Masingbi, Yele, and Mile 91 form the vibrant heart of this district. Tonkolili District, which has a largely Muslim population of approximately 85%, is known as a hub of Islamic faith and learning in Sierra Leone.

With a clear, yet ambitious plan we tackle the fact that currently over 1,500 students are
memorising the Holy Quran in open spaces in Sierra Leone, specifically in Tankolili District,
where
we focus at this current moment.
The lack of adequate facilities and infrastructure is a considerable barrier to their educational
and spiritual pursuits and development.
These children showcase a sheer love for the Divine Book and an incredible desire to engage in the
quest of its memorisation.
To realise their goals and to make what they will achieve regardless, that bit easier for them, is
where we come in.
We will build and construct a Quran Learning and Hifz Centre in each of the districts 10
townships.
Each centre will be equipped with modern facilities and services, allowing it
to comfortably
accommodate up to 250 students.
This is what they need, what they deserve and truly the least that we can do.
With your help, we will be able to achieve our objectives faster and get these centres up
and
running for these beautiful children, so that the cycle of goodness and khair can begin
sooner and
continue forever.
