Our History
Alkhidmat Welfare UK is a non-profit, non-political, and autonomous humanitarian organisation that works with real-world problems, emergencies, and humanitarian aid.
Alkhidmat Welfare UK has embarked on a mission to restore normalcy in times of crises with unshakable commitment. Our service areas include disaster relief, healthcare, education, clean water access, orphan care, and various other community services. We support and participate in helpful programmes to reach all of mankind through our strong partnerships with NGOs (both private and public).

Bismillah hir Rahman nir Raheem,
I feel privileged to be addressing all of you in this amazing edition of At A
Glance.
The year 2023 was indeed a happening year for the whole world, not least Pakistan.
The floods that made headlines all over, and the overwhelming support that poured in
from all corners of the world, touched a chord in every human heart and brought us
all close together.
In the UK, where I head Alkhidmat’s operations, the desire to do something - or
rather anything - to alleviate the suffering of the victims was felt across the
nation, uniting communities and races, without exception. It was a humbling
experience to be a part of these efforts and to give back to the place of our roots,
which people like me still hold dear in our hearts.
We are aware that our contribution to the relief activities in Pakistan, despite the
best of our efforts, was no more than a drop in the ocean. Regardless, we still feel
proud that we could put our hand up and be counted when it mattered most.
We thank you for the opportunity, and we pray to Allah for strength and
steadfastness!

The past year has been a period of steady growth and significant achievements for
our organisation as we continue to expand our global footprint. We have extended our
reach to Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Yemen, Gaza, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, bringing
much-needed relief and development to some of the most underserved communities in
the world. Among our key milestones, we launched the first- ever ambulance service
in Tonkolili, Sierra Leone, an unprecedented step forward in improving emergency
healthcare in the region.
None of this progress would have been possible without the dedication of our
exceptional team, the trust of our trustees, and, most importantly, the unwavering
support of our growing number of local donors. Together, we are making a lasting
difference in the lives of those who need it most.
