Jamia Kabeer The Great Mosque of Darayya

One of the city’s most historic and revered landmarks, stands at its heart as a testament to centuries of faith and resilience. Originally built during the reign of Nur al-Din Zangi, the mosque has withstood the trials of time, having been burned down in the 12th century and later attacked in the 13th and 18th centuries.
We are dedicated to restoring this sacred site to its former glory.
You can be a part of this historic restoration by contributing £1,200 per share. Donations can be made as a one-time payment or through monthly installments of £100 over 12 months.

Sow the Seeds of Goodness

"The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain that sprouts seven ears, in every ear a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills"
(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:261)

Whoever builds a masjid seeking the countenance (pleasure) of Allah, Allah will build a house for him in Paradise.
(Bukhari & Muslim)
